Job Title: Assistant Manager - Accounts & Finance
Location: Andheri East (Walkable from Andheri Station)
Brief Description of Duties:
a. Handling routine activities relating to bank. Payment, Receipt & Contra, Bank Reconciliation, etc.
b. Hands on experience Tally ERP and Navision ERP (preferred)
c. Finalization of accounts.
d. Salary disbursement & statutory compliance payment.
e. Monthly STPI submission and MPR/APR/QPR STPI returns
f. FIRC application for Inward Remittances against approved Softex form.
g. Processing Payroll ? PF, PT, Full & Final Settlement, etc.
h. Preparing Sales Invoice & raising Debit Notes to Sister Concerns.
i. Calculation of Foreign Exchange Fluctuation and Forwards Contract Booking and Utilization.
j. Handling Cash.
k. Calculation of TDS, making subsequent payments & filing TDS Return.
l. Calculation of GST, making subsequent payments & filing GST Return & GST Refund Application.
m. Preparing Calculation/Forecasting of Inward Remittance details.
n. Preparing & Issuing Form 16/16A.
o. Assisting in Financial Statements of companies like Profit and Loss A/c, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement.
p. Sound Knowledge of accounting standards.
q. Providing various reports to management to help in decision making.
r. Co-coordinating with auditors during finalization of accounts.
s. Knowledge of GST, Direct taxation Individual and Corporate Laws.
t. Filing of GST returns, TDS Returns, PT Returns, EPF Returns, MCA Annual Compliance returns etc.
u. Assisting in Income Tax and GST assessments, Foreign Exchange and other day to day accounting work.
OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES OR CERTIFICATIONS:
- Work requires good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate team members to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several activities. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
- Knowledge of Tally ERP and Navision ERP (preferred).
- Knowledge of Accounting Standards (AS) and Schedule III strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite (primarily Excel).
- Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule when necessary.
- Preferred experience working in a small to mid-size company environment.
