Job Summary

Job Description

As a senior machine learning engineer, you will contribute to ourend to end supply chain platform. You'll work with all key stakeholders to deliver scalable, maintainablecode and ML solutions that can catapult our supply chain efficiencies.

You are:

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the setting up of our ML practice and constantly strive to improve it as per our business needs
  • Analyse requirements, shortlist the right ML algorithms, provide estimates and deliver solutions in an agile setup
  • Understand data, identify differencesin data distribution that could affect performance when deploying the model in the real world
  • Verify data quality, and/or ensuring it via data cleaning
  • Supervise the data acquisition process if more data is needed
  • Define validation strategies and design the tooling needed for data administration
  • Build, train and deploy ML models
  • Stay on top of all owned work and raise red flags as early as possible
  • Definethe architecture, best practices and coding standards for machine learning development
  • Motivateteam members, coach junior members and extendgoodwill to other employees

Qualifications

Must have

  • Prior startup experience, preferably with war stories to share
  • 3-5 years of software industry experience
  • Solid understanding of software design, development, testing, and problem-solving
  • Practical experience with Data Science and Machine Learning development workflows
  • Worked on computer vision related problems
  • Knowledge of various AWS or Google Cloud services related to AL/ML
  • Knowledge of Unix shell and source control systems and tools such as git
  • Strong technical leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Technical mentoringskills

Great to have

  • Experience or knowledge of application development
  • Deployed mobile app based AI/ML experiences into production
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
