We are looking for an experienced data engineer to join our team. You will use various methods to transform raw data into useful data systems. Key areas that are needed to be worked on are creating and maintaining data pipelines and databases. Overall, you ll strive for efficiency by aligning data systems with business goals.
To succeed in this data engineering position, you should have strong analytical skills, the ability to combine data from different sources, and perform ETL functions to make the data ready for the end users to consume for analysis .
Data engineer skills also include familiarity with several programming languages such as Python, Java etc.

Responsibilities
Develop, construct, test and maintain architectures
Align architecture with business requirements
Data acquisition
Develop data set processes
Use programming language and tools
Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality
Use large data sets to address business issues
Deploy sophisticated analytics programs, machine learning and statistical methods
Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling
Use data to discover tasks that can be automated
Deliver updates to stakeholders based on analytics
Requirements
Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role
Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java and Python)
Hands-on experience with SQL database design and cloud native technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure
Great numerical and analytical skills
Data engineering certification (e.g IBM Certified Data Engineer) is a plus
