Assistant General Manager Finance & Accounts- Jejuri Pune Job in Indiana Group

Purpose of this Role: The candidate will be responsible for the Finance and Accounts functions at the plant.

Key Deliverables

1. Responsible for accurate accounting and analysis of all cost centers by periodic review and control of all plant expenses including conversion cost, lean inventory systems, minimal freight, and reduction in overheads. Would be required to present a monthly variance report including cost budget to the management.

2. Improve on costing methods by ensuring that cost sheets are periodically modified with the latest cost centers and productivity outputs.

3. Implement systems and processes including ERP to help increase productivity at all plant levels.

4. Ensure daily operations of the accounting department of monthly, quarterly, and yearly processes, including but not limited to purchase and sales billing, accounts payable, general ledger, capitalization and fixed asset reconciliation leading to closure of any internal audit observations.

5. Comply with all Statutory and Regulatory requirements including but not limited to direct and indirect taxes, GST, Professional Tax, Income tax, and GST refund claims with relevant authorities.
