Responsibilities
Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test data, test scenarios and other test documentation Executes test cases and scripts manually, using automated test tools, or through database queries Execute functional, regression, backend API tests and various other types of testing as appropriate Ability to analyze and ask the right questions based on requirements provided to create test scenarios and assess test coverage Accurately report and manage defects, assess risk to scheduled releases and develop mitigation actions Following best practices for software development Skills Experience in REST API, Web, UI testing Experience in creating and executing test plans and test cases Experience with QA testing techniques/tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Postman, RestAssured, JMeter, Newman. Knowledge of databases such as Elasticsearch, Postgres etc. Prior experience with Selenium, cucumber, or similar tools Prior experience with web-based application testing would be a plus Knowledge in Python and Shell / Bash scripting Experience with Agile software development and knowledge of best practices for agile testing on a Scrum team. High attention to detail with proven ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities of various sizes and complexities.
