Job Summary:
The Associate Project Manager manages the scope, quality, and timelines of the projects/programs and sets client expectations. He or she develops or updates project plans, including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, specifications, and schedules. In addition, he or she also manages project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope, as well as monitors or tracks project milestones and deliverables.
Job Description:
The roles and responsibilities of the Associate Project Manager include the following:
Developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
Determining the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyzing the results, and troubleshooting problem areas
Conducting project postmortems and creating recommendation reports in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
Coordinating all program management activities to ensure appropriate communication to all stakeholders and execution of the project in alignment with the strategic goals of the business
Adhering to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies
Desired Skills and Experience:
EducationBE/BTech/BSc/BCA (IT background)
ExperienceMinimum 4 years of experience in project management
Familiarity with project management software and MS Office
Working knowledge of current Internet technologies
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for networking and updating oneself with the latest technical/scientific developments and relate them to various projects
Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
Should be a self-starter and capable of operating on minimal management oversight
Ability to work under pressure to meet agreed deadlines
Should be a team player and willing to take ownership
Should be accountable for the assignments
