Data Science Full Time Trainer Job in Iide - Indian Institute Of Digital Education

Essential:

A Ph.D. or a First Class Master s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engg., & Tech., and experience of minimum 4 years in teaching at a reputed institute.

OR

A First Class Master s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engg., & Tech.with industrial / professional experience of minimum 8 years.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• To spearhead the entire post-graduation program of Data Science
• To split the curriculum into pre recorded content and live training to ensure maximum retention of the subject from a student perspective.
• To develop curriculum and content for both formats of learning (pre recorded and live).
• Hire quality trainers and industry experts for the program (full time and visiting faculty)
• Plan and coordinate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure we have sufficient leads, applicants and students for each batch intake.
• Design and deliver effective pitches to attract student prospects to the programme
• Design challenging exams (MCQ based) and assignment (case study based) to gauge effectiveness of the training imparted
• To deliver course material through lectures/sessions as per the pre-decided curriculum
• Innovate and improve teaching methods for self and other trainers basis past classroom experiences
• To mentor students with respect to doubts related to the curriculum or career prospects
• Evaluate student assignments and grade them
• Should have awareness about the career landscape in India & abroad to help create industry collaborations for placing students in reputed companies

Prerequisites:

• Should be an expert in at least one of the following modules
• Python language and its packages like numpy, matplotlib, nltk, scikit
• Mathematical statistics and probability
• Core concepts of ML supervised and unsupervised
• Git
• AWS
• Fantastic communication skills and ability to deliver course material with full confidence and vigor for sessions ranging from 2 to 4 hours
• Fluent verbal as well as written communication skills
• Should be punctual and disciplined to ensure all training begin and end on time and do full justice to the topic delivered
• Should be patient and sensitive towards trainees and their ability to grasp new concepts
• A good team player who believes in the concept of train and get trained at the same time
