Job Summary

Your day to day

As Chief Engineer, you will supervise the Engineering team and oversee the entire Engineering daily operation in order to create an exceptional guest experience. Responsible to delivering a seamless arrival and farewell experience to our guests at all times.Manage the engineering/maintenance operations of the hotel to ensure safety and comfort of hotel guests and team members. Follow brand standards and federal, state, and/or local regulatory requirements. May have responsibility for the Loss Prevention function. What we need from you

Some college or advanced vocational training plus eight years of experience in general building maintenance and/or construction or equivalent combination of education and experience. Specialised expertise inplumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry fields. Level 3 EPA Certification, HVAC and refrigeration certificate, licensed plumber and/orjourneyman status for electrician and carpenter may be required. Hotelexperience preferred. Professional certification and licence if required bylaw.
