Software Test Engineer / Test Lead

Permanent position with US based client of iFlex.
Work Location: Hyderabad
Experience Level: 5 to 7 Years

We are looking for a software tester with proven success in executing regression, functional and system software testing functions. Candidate should be experienced in creating, updating maintaining and executing Test Plans, Manual Test Cases. Should be able to execute Selenium Automation Test scripts. Create Test case and Traceability documents for every release. Must be able to verify results, produce test summaries and create defect reports. Successful candidate should have strong organizational, communication and collaboration skills; and must have the ability to communicate with the Test manager, technical and non-technical project members

Key Responsibilities:

• At-least 5+ years of experience in software development; preferably Product.
• Deliver high quality platform solutions that support variety of customer use cases.

Qualifications:

Requires a BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related technical discipline. Experience performing tests at all stages of application development, including functional, usability, regression, load/stress and performance testing with at least 4 years of testing experience; Experience with integration testing, requiring ability to work with limited system knowledge. Minimum 1 years of experience with automated testing tools, (SELENIUM, SOAP UI and WAPT preferred) to conduct functional, regression and performance testing, evaluate test results, report and manage defects

• Experience with 508 testing is preferred.
• Able to work closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Proven ability to develop, execute and maintain automated test suites across multiple environments: Web, Web Services, Oracle and back end applications.
• Able to create and execute SQL Queries to develop testing data points and to validate test results.
• Testing experience with Java, .NET, and Oracle based software applications preferred.
• Reporting and tracking issues in the bug tracking software - experience with JIRA preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
