Job Summary
Leading and managing process engineering activities for refinery, fertilizer, or heavy chemicals projects. Providing technical expertise and guidance to the project team in process design and optimization. Conducting process simulations, feasibility studies, and performance evaluations to identify and implement improvements. Developing and reviewing PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams), P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and other process engineering deliverables. Ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements. Participating in the development and review of process design basis, process safety studies, and hazard assessments. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and procurement, to support project execution and operational excellence. Managing and coordinating process engineering activities during the various project phases, from conceptual design to commissioning and start-up. Conducting process optimization studies to improve efficiency, productivity, and energy consumption. Mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior process engineers. Keeping abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in the refinery, fertilizer, or heavy chemicals sectors.
