Job Summary
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- Should have prior knowledge on Oracle database version 11g, 12c, 18c and 19c versions
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and internals.
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database software and related products.
- Create and maintain Oracle databases, including user management, schema design.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database issues, including resolving incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing preventive measures.
- Plan and execute database backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Basic configuration of Disaster Recovery Techniques (Oracle Dataguard)
- Must have knowledge of ASM (Automatic Storage Management) configuration and migration.
- Excellent problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge and hands on experience of basic UNIX commands and functionality.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
