Sr. Electrical Engineer Job in Ibi Chematur

• Preparation of Design philosophy
• Preparation of basic drawings and documents including load list, one line diagram, substation sizing, hazardous area classification and main cable route plan etc.
• Preparation of Electrical MTO
• Power system studies, load flow, short circuit, motor starting and relay co-ordination using ETAP
• Preparation of various Electrical equipment sizing calculations (like transformer, DG, UPS, Battery, Capacitor), Illumination level calculations, HT and LT cable sizing using in-house software programs
• Provide electrical engineering inputs for plant 3D model design (use of PDS and SP3D) based on detail engineering layouts and co ordinate with other engineering disciplines
• Develop various detailed engineering drawings along with its MTO. These include typical installation details, cable tray & trench layouts, lighting layouts, earthing & lightning layout, fire alarm layouts & electrical heat tracing etc.
• Preparing detail documents like cable schedule, drum schedule, cable arrangement schedule, termination schedule, Electrical & Instrumentation interface schedule etc.
• Procurement activities involving preparation of enquiry requisition with all technical specifications and data sheets, review of bidder quotes, discussions and clarifications with bidders, technical recommendations & technical order specification [after order]
• Carryout Inspection and testing at Vendor s works for major and critical electrical equipments including transformers, switchgears, MCC panels, DG Set, UPS and MV/LV motors etc.
