Team Head System Design (m/f/d) Full-time, Gurgaon, Indien The team System Design is part of the Engineering & System Integration Department.
It is subdivided into sub-teams that are led by the respective Team Head. Acting as an integrated developer and EPC by system design, we mean all engineering services required for a techno-commercially optimised utility-scale PV power plant project, unless they are provided by the sister team Electrical Systems. The scope includes preparation of various design packages covering any aspects for the PV array layout / civils, design specifications for mechanical and civil works tendering and yield assessments / batch simulations.
As Team Head System Design your tasks will include:
Leading a group of Systems Engineers from the System Design team with the aim of providing leading edge engineering services Supporting and developing Systems Engineers in their daily tasks acting as primus inter pares as needed Interfacing with various other departments and teams in order to assure engineering designs allow the best possible enterprise value, meet the project timelines, our own, international and local project standards and contractual requirements and allow safe erection and operation. Your main focus will be on our own EPC realisation projects. You will also support the development of our worldwide projects with technical expertise from the conceptual phase to operation Close cooperation with Electrical Systems engineering teams from Department Engineering & System Integration. Aggregating, managing and producing documentation and information for different design stages and for management, clients, lenders, advisers and for sub-contracting of construction services Your Pro le:
Background and Experience:
Academic degree in electrical or civil engineering, renewable energies or related fields of study A must:
>5 years of experience and knowledgeable in the above-mentioned field of activity, preferably with a focus on ground mounted PV systems Mandatory: Deep understanding of PV power plant design fundamentals & good understanding of financial modelling aspects Further requirements: Knowledge and experience in the factual realisation of PV projects, i.e., site operations and construction process. Solid knowledge and experience in the field of civil engineering, i.e., basics of structural design as well as structural solutions, e.g., from factory-precast concrete or in-situ concrete. First-hand experience in leading a team of engineers Required Skills: Proactive team player with a high degree of self-management, assertiveness and dedication to the task at hand Positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn Professional use of software solutions such as Civil3D, Helios3D, PVsyst, Competent use of the MS Office 365 environment and of document management systems Languages: English is our day-to-day working language.
