Job Summary
About the Job:
I-PAC is seeking professionals who can play a pivotal role in the finance function to support its multiple projects across locations
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular ledger maintenance
- Perform general day-to-day accounting activities and ad-hoc analysis
- Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
- Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Liaise with the Finance Manager to report and improve procedures
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance is a must (Master s preferred)
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- 3-7 years of experience in general or tax accounting
- Proven experience as a accounting supervisor or senior accountant
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with accounting softwares like Tally
- Advanced knowledge of Excel skills including V-lookups and pivot tables
- Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment
- Good communication skills- written, oral & presentation
- Flexibility to travel
Location: Kolkata (Shall be open to travel as per business requirement)
