Job Description - Sr Software Developer & Jr Software Developer

Professional Statement

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to produce and implement functional software

solutions. You will work with upper management to define software requirements and take the

lead on operational and technical projects.

Your goal will be to develop high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business

goals.

As a senior software developer with our company, youll work closely with a team of software

developers to build, customize and integrate software applications for our company.

In this role, you should be able to work independently with little supervision. You should have

excellent organization and problem-solving skills. If you also have hands-on experience in

software development and agile methodologies, wed like to meet you.

Day to Day Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, support and deploy desktop, custom web, and mobile applications.

Gather customer

software requirements and develop related software applications and programs.

Research and evaluate software related technologies and products.

Design and develop testing and maintenance procedures and activities.

Develop and write high-quality coding that meets customer requirements.

Create software documentation and update existing documentation.

Design, develop and implement critical applications in a .Net environment.

Assist and support other team members on multiple projects.

Drive team members to keep up with projects deadlines and within the clients budgets.

Implement best practices, standards and procedures including quality and delivery

methodologies.

Ensure compliance with the documented software processes and procedures throughout

the life cycle of software products.

Must Have Skills

Excellent Communication with:

C#, ASP.NET, proficiency in Java and C/C++ a plus.

SQL 2005,2007

Solid experience with web services (.NET or Java) XML (DOM manipulation, SAX parsing, XPATH,

XSLT)

Perfect understanding of relational databases (including tables, views, indexes, tablespaces etc.)

Complete mastery of Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and the translation of business

requirements into them

Good knowledge and understanding of Oracle APIs

In-depth knowledge of applications code registration procedures

Good working knowledge in Unix/Linux shell scripting

Ability to identify system impact for small and large scale initiatives

Non-technical but must have skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Effective in fast-paced deadline driven projects and should be good in time management skills.

Ability to work independently and strong data analytical skills.

Must have a self-learning attitude and ability to grasp new technologies.

Should have worked with Overseas clients.
