Web Developer (growth) - Wordpress/webflow Job in Hubilo Technologies Inc

We are looking for a skilled web developer to join our small but mighty growth team. You will be working alongside a team of other developers, designers and marketers to create, maintain, and optimize our public facing website. Owning the development of the first experience most web visitors have with our brand, and a vital part of the customer journey. You ll have the opportunity to build, experiment and optimize a critical part of the business.

As a core member of our Growth marketing team you ll collaborate with design, demand, and copywriters to identify the biggest opportunities for growth on our customer journey and develop/deploy experiments to address them.

Working knowledge of Webflow CMS, as well as familiarity with custom Wordpress themes and templates are a must along with knowledge of building pages using page builders such as Elementor etc.

In order for you to thrive in this role, you will need to be proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP as well as have solid knowledge and experience in programming applications.

Skills Needed

• 5+ years of experience

• Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery

• Experience building user interfaces for websites.

• Experience designing and developing mobile responsive websites

• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers

• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes using Webflow CMS and/or Wordpress Page builders such as Elementor or Brizy along with customisation.

• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Versionpress)

• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development

• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.

• Knowledge of Website Architecture and Server configuration preferable

• Experience integrating Marketing and Analytics tools (Hubspot, Amplitude, VWO, Drift)

• Experiencing implementing web analytics and conversion tracking

• SEO - On page SEO tech knowledge a plus

• Knowledge of Figma, InvisionApp, or similar a plus

Responsibilities

• In this role you can expect to design, develop, QA and optimize our public facing website.

• Use scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media.

• Confer with internal teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop requirements, and choose solutions.

• Performing ongoing website updates and improvements.

• Develop or validate test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.

• Diagnose problems uncovered by customer feedback then test and correct or refer problems to appropriate personnel for correction.

• Evaluate code to ensure it meets best practices, is valid, properly structured, and compatible with all browsers, devices, or operating systems.

• Collaborate with the rest of the growth team to build and maintain a best in class high performing website
