Duties and Responsibilities

Can ensure branding consistency across all channels. Duties and responsibilities of Graphic designers include:

• Working with other creatives to produce a variety of branded content.

• Create, follow and enforce the brand guidelines while fostering a community.

• Make daily independent design choices. Prepare artwork packages for development.

• Design and produce various marketing communication materials across different platforms and mediums.

• Conceptualize and draft design ideas for projects and campaigns.

• Work closely and communicate effectively with other teams to support strategic marketing initiatives and deliver projects within agreed upon timeframe.

• Recommend design solutions that are both versatile, innovative and on-brand.

• Research and recommend implementation of current design trends and techniques.

• Communicate with all levels of department and company personnel including limited direct contact with outside vendors and clients.

• Seek out and stay current on design trends, tools, and training.

Skills and Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum of 5-7 years of professional agency (or comperabble) experience.

• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (emphasis on Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD)

• A keen eye for aesthetic, creativity and detail.

• Conceptualize and execute on design guided by briefs, requirements, and industry trends.

• Use design best practices when it comes to color, typography and layout.

• Work with writers, stakeholders and other team members to produce exceptional design.

• Ensure design from concept to end are visually appealing, follow best practices and are on-brand.

• Mastering the process, utility, functions, and purpose of design to deliver the most creative, strategic and compelling work.

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.

• Comfortable in working with rapid iterations and multiple stakeholders.

• Should possess the ability to work in a team and independently.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to communicate with all levels of department and company personnel.

• Proven self-starter and highly motivated, comfortable taking the initiative and handling multiple projects simultaneously.

• A compelling story teller through the use of the visual medium.

• Ability to prioritize, task and manage work to meet critical project timelines.

• Passionate and analytical about current design trends, new approaches, personal skills growth.

• A compelling portfolio with projects showcasing relevant skills.
