• Experience gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components
• Should be having a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications
• Ability to create both functional and aesthetically appealing features that address the project needs
• Knowledge of design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

What you ll do:

You will work in creating the package solution for customers who require customization of the B2C E-Commerce, B2B E-Commerce, product information management, order management, warehouse management on HotWax Commerce unified omnichannel commerce platform which is built on Apache OFBiz and Java Framework. You will be responsible for the delivery of high quality applications while using cutting edge Java technologies and practicing Agile development and continuous integration.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to accomplish the following:

• Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with product managers and engineers
• Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows
• Designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
• Interpret product specifications per user roles and human psychology
• Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback
• Create personas through user research and data
• Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success
• Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs
• Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability, accessibility, etc.)
• Leverage UI design skills to develop complementary interface, interactivity and attractive, modern designs
• Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers
• Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends
