Honeywell EDI team iscommissioned ensure that customers of Honeywell experience world classinteractions with world class systems/processes. The team leverages the baseSAP ERP system deployed through the Common Process/System (CP/S) group andextends applications/processes that can be directly leveraged by our customers.



So, what will youactually be doing?

A Technology SMEEDI roles responsibility is to be the technical expert to design, developand deploy Solutions and analysis of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)interfaces from internal and external partners of Honeywell. The person has to work closely with thevarious internal and external stakeholders, their clearinghouses and other EDIpartners to address configuration needs as well as resolve production issues.This position serves as the single point of contact for all technical inquiriesregarding EDI operations.

Responsibilities
Education: Masters Degree with 6+ years of overall technical experience in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
Expertise in EDI platforms IBM B2Bi, and 3rd Party tools like Elemica, Conexiom.
SAP EDI working knowledge and technical experience with SAP, SFDC, Web Services,etc.
EDI Standards (x12, EDIFACT, etc) experience 5+ years
SAP/ERP Order Management knowledge with minimum of 3 years
Experience with Cloud Hosted Applications would be added advantage
Designs an appropriate workflow for a specific IT/SBG systems. Knowledge on BPM process and tools
Should have minimum of 5 years of experience in leading technology initiatives Proof of Concepts, Evaluation and Assessment of EDI technology products and tools
Work together with Internal and external stakeholders as needed to set up an electronic interface. Responsible for testing, certifying and post production support.
Assists with establishing, maintaining and monitoring all system and data integration activities with internal and external partners
Understands customer requirements, conducts detailed technical design, and determines level of effort & implementation approach.
Facilitate customer meetings to discuss technical aspects of the solution and present appropriate technical solutions that balance the client requirements with technical goals around performance, scalability, extensibility and maintainability
Excellent grasp of the principles of Business Process Workflows, Workflow Automation and Automation
Solid understanding of application architecture design principles, design patterns and service oriented architectures
Knowledge of systems architecture design & planning utilizing physical and virtualized environments
Have thorough understanding of ITIL practices
Experience in DevOps model is added plus
Agile methodology experience preferred
Have excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, peers, IT management and staff
Demonstrate accountability, sound decision making, analytical thoroughness, and the ability to lead and mentor team members



YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelors degree in Business, IT, or similar field such as Technology; masters degree preferred
Minimum of 8 years in Information Technology
Strong application skills, including development, maintenance, operations, and support across multiple technology platforms;
Minimum of 5 years experience managing strong technical personnel in a global work environment




WE VALUE
Track-record of successful SAP EDI customers implementations covering OM transactions
SAP EDI implementation experiences; either as a team member or consultant. This should equate to a minimum of 3-9 years of SAP EDI experience.
Experience with specifications, development and testing of EDI mapping work for OM
Strong IBM B2Bi mapping and Basic BPM development
Understanding core transactions that are part of the EDI footprint: inbound orders; outbound order acknowledgement, ASN, and invoice
Understanding Business/Branding requirements in relation to establishment of SAP org structure and impact on customer/enveloping setup.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline
