Job Summary Hitachi Energy is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Specialist Para-Professional (S4) to join our Transformer Manufacturing team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in electrical/mechanical/instrumentation engineering and extensive experience in transformer manufacturing processes. As an S4, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, optimization, and efficiency of our production processes. Responsibilities: Manufacturing Excellence: Follow standard manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and production optimization. Implement and maintain lean manufacturing practices across product lines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Planning, Purchasing, Maintenance, Quality) for smooth production execution. Process Management: Control and monitor the usage of critical production tools. Manage and allocate operators to meet production targets. Ensure micro-level planning of each workstation for efficient execution of the manufacturing plan. Engineering and Innovation: Analyze and suggest engineering changes for transformer improvements. Work with the engineering team to implement these changes effectively. Performance and Efficiency: Measure and monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of critical equipment, aiming for a target of over 90%. Continuously identify and implement improvements to enhance production efficiency. Leadership and Teamwork: Train, delegate, and review the work of lower-level employees. Collaborate effectively within the team to ensure timely execution of the manufacturing plan. Influence without authority across departments and management levels. Qualifications: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)/Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering. 5-12 years of experience in transformer manufacturing or a related field. Expert knowledge of power transformer manufacturing techniques and associated technologies. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes. Proven planning and execution skills. Excellent people management and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office and databases. Knowledge of SAP is a plus. Great attention to detail and a results-oriented approach. Strong organizational and leadership abilities. Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
