Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract specifications. This role involves planning, monitoring, and controlling project activities, coordinating with stakeholders, and addressing project issues to meet customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: Project Execution: Execute projects in accordance with contract scope, schedule, and contractual conditions. Contract Review: Review contracts received from sales to understand terms and conditions, identify potential risks, and assess their impact on margin, performance, and risk factors. Project Management: Plan, monitor, and control project activities (scope, time, and cost) proactively to achieve project goals. Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the point of contact for project schedules and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. Documentation: Prepare and maintain a project-wise master document list and ensure documentation is updated throughout the project cycle. Engineering and Customer Coordination: Coordinate with engineering and customers for timely approval of drawings and documents. Resolve project-related queries and issues during execution. Customer Escalation: Serve as the point of contact for customer escalations, addressing project issues and ensuring Hitachi Energy commitments are met. Change Management: Monitor and document change requests from customers related to project scope and obtain approvals for time extensions, additional costs, and more. Project Closure: Coordinate with the service team for installation, testing, and commissioning at the site. Follow up with customers for timely payment collection, PAC/FAC collection, and project closure. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. 4-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in high-voltage (AIS) switchgear products. Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office. Fluency in English language. Ability to create and manage Gantt charts for project planning. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders. Proven ability to work well within a collaborative team environment. Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
