Benefit Verification Qualifications and Skills High School Diploma or Equivalent 1-2 years of experience as an Insurance Verification Specialist Strong computer and keyboarding skills, with the ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute (WPM) Proficiency using software programs such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Electronic Medical Records is preferred. Experience working with ECW and Availity, preferred but not mandatory.
