Description

SharePoint Architect

Responsibilities -

Develop and implement a variety of SharePoint On-Premise / SharePoint Online / Hybrid solutions, including:

oWeb Content Management (e.g. Intranet, Internet, Extranet)

oCollaboration (e.g. Team/Project/Community sites)

oBusiness process management (e.g. workflows, electronic forms)

oDocument Management (e.g. content types, policies, metadata)

Recommend best-in-class solution architecture identifying functional as well non-functional parameters

Identify code performance improvement opportunities early and imbibe them in the solutioning

Act as a senior technical resource and guide the project teams as well as customers on important technological decisions and ensure smooth and quality delivery of projects

Participate in design, code, test review cycles.

Aid the presales process by lending your SharePoint expertise to sales pursuits, proposals and offerings

Provide detailed architecture analysis and design, and direction on development activities.

Assist in the creation of prototypes, POCs, presentations, collaterals, etc.

Provide documentation on all architecture decisions and best practice approaches to architecture design implementation based on communication with project teams.

Design and development of enterprise applications on Microsoft platforms, both on premise and on Office 365

Work as both an individual contributor and team member on projects.

Collaborate with other business functions to jointly design solutions

Aid projects in troubleshooting complex issues when required

Experience:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science (or related field) and a minimum of 10+ years of overall software development experience and minimum of 8 years of experience with SharePoint

Deep and demonstrated understanding of Software architecture principles as applies to solutions and application architectures (specifically for portals, web sites and systems integration projects).

Solid understanding and proven ability with

oSharePoint 2010/2013/2016 including Server-Side Object Model, Office 365 / SharePoint Online, Web parts, Visual Studio, AJAX, SQL Server, Web services, WCF, SharePoint Designer, SharePoint features, BDC/BCS, ASP.NET, Search

oClient-side development CSOM / JSOM / REST API, PowerShell, third party front-end frameworks (Angular, React, etc.,)

Knowledge of Modern UI and its development methodologies SPFx, SharePoint PnP

Knowledge on PowerApps, Power Automate, Azure PHAs

Knowledge around Common Data Service in Office 365

Knowledge on Graph API in Office 365 is must

Understanding on Azure Web Jobs, Scheduling Jobs, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Web App

Understanding on GitHub repository and integrations with Azure of GitHub repo for CI and CD

Knowledge on Microsoft Teams is must

Any development done for Microsoft Teams is an added advantage

Experience with other products in SharePoint ecosystems such as products from AvePoint, Metalogix, Quest, Nintex, Sharegate, etc.

Demonstrated expertise on the SharePoint platform and experience with enterprise projects including intranet and extranet portals

Relevant working experience including expertise in Enterprise Architecture consulting skills such as interviewing stakeholders, conducting architecture reviews, and consensus building.

Knowledge of SharePoint Admin activities Configuring Service applications, Managed metadata, Backup and Recovery, Health and Monitoring

Professional and consultative mindset with commitment for excellent customer service.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).

Ability to come up with creative solutions for ambiguous problems and learn quickly.

Good to have
