Job Summary
  • Manages and coordinates the organisation s day-to-day operations to support ongoing change projects.
  • Manages the development and implementation of general operating policies, processes and procedures for the organisation and leads ongoing change projects.
  • Uses best practices and knowledge to improve systems and processes.
  • Provides support and leadership where appropriate on specific projects.
  • Establish and ensure the appropriate governance functions are observed for projects in accordance with policies and best practices.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of stakeholder relationships and reporting.
  • Be responsible for the creation and maintenance of documentation.
  • Lead the execution of ongoing change projects, monitoring progress, and reporting.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings, including stand-up, planning, and retrospective.
  • Ensure teams are aligned on project direction and managing IT Change.
  • Working out and agreeing on priorities, timescales, budgets and quality.
  • Using project management software to plan and resource.
  • Co-ordinating the project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
Skills & Experience:
  • Strong understanding of Waterfall/Agile/DevOps methodologies
  • Champion best ways of working, previous experience as an Agile Coach/DevOps Evangelist
  • Knowledge and experience of backlog tracking, removing impediments and enabling delivery teams.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced enterprise applications environment.
  • High Tech Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • A demonstrable track record in continuous improvement.
  • Technically knowledgeable in software development lifecycle concepts.
  • Strong project management and planning skills.
  • Understanding of testing, test automation and QA practices.
  • Proficiency in using Project Management tools including Jira.
  • Experience in presenting to Director and C-Level stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Risk management.
  • Programme management/Project Management qualification beneficial.
  • Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-changing environment.
