Safety Job in Hatsun Agro Product Ltd

Job Purpose

Responsible for implementing and maintaining the environmental health and safety program involving hazard identification evaluation and control of accident/injury prevention, hazardous material/waste management, emergency preparedness, fire/life safety, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and environmental regulatory compliance.

Principal Accountabilities

• Successful leadership and hands-on direction of EHS issues in major operating facilities and business Functions that support divisional projects.

• Demonstrated understanding of ability to communicate effectively with regulatory authorities, Government officials, major customers and senior executives within the organization.

• Demonstrated ability to develop, motivate and direct teams in a matrix organization.

• Ensures all EHS processes and procedures are implemented and standardized across PAN HAP manufacturing facility.

• Works closely with Engineering and Facilities on special projects involving plant construction, equipment design, and hazardous assessments.

• Ensures emergency response systems, policies and procedures are in place to manage emergency situations.

• Assists the Commercial, Engineering and Operations Department in their dealings with clients in all issues concerned with Health and Safety at work.

• Provides Safety support and advice, including supervision on preparation of plans and procedures for initial contract start up activities.

• Participate in all site safety committees and analyse all job hazard activities and ensure compliance to all EHS guidelines and perform audit on all activities.

• Monitor all conservation and protection programs and maintain hygiene at facility at all times and prepare required status reports.

• Prepare all EHS training program according to required regulations and prepare schedule of all training programs and ensure all employees receive appropriate training.

Education & Experience

• Educational qualifications: ME (Industrial Safety)

• Experience : Minimum 10 years of experience in process or chemical industry
