Job Summary
  • Job Requirement

    • B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Engineering

    • Candidate with minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in estimation, planningand scheduling of projects relevant to continuous process industry. Experience inGreen field projects is an added advantage.

    • Should possess the drive and passion to succeed

    • Should have strong communication skills.

  • Job Description

    • Through Knowledge of 110/11KV Substation, Single line diagram conception anddetailed design, Protective diagrams for HV, LV, Load flow, short?circuitcalculation, protection sizing, Wiring diagrams and detailed design development,Equipment specification (HV intake substation, HV switchgear, LV switchboardsand MCC's, PCCs, HV/MV? Transformers, MV?Regulators, capacitor banks, UPSand DC supplies, lighting equipments ,etc.),Earthing system sizing, calculationand equipment specification, VFDs, Servo Drives, Soft starters Operation andMaintenance of Emergency Backup generators.

    • Estimation of project cost. Planning, organizing and supervising the work ofengineers and technicians assigned to projects.

    • Quality control review of Electrical deliverables. Managing multiple projects andcoordinate/meeting with clients and sub?contractors.

    • Review, examine and approve plans and specification for electrical work toensure compliance with the Local Regulations. Take the lead in the inspectionand evaluation of electrical work in construction projects to ensure all workconforms to the requirements of the approved plans and Local regulations.

    • Determine the cause and take action to correct violations of agreed electricalstandards, codes and specifications. Provide corrective instructions toelectricians, site engineers and project personnel.

    • Prepare recommendations regarding temporary and final certificates ofhandover occupancy.

    • Prepare reports, establish and maintain essential records and files. Interface withpackaged mechanical equipment vendors, Supervision of connection anddistribution drawings made by drafting persons.

    • Purchase order technical follow?up, Participation to factory acceptance tests andsite acceptance tests when applicable Participation to pre?commissioning,commissioning and start?up activities where applicable.
