Job Summary

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the Record-to-Report (R2R) process, utilizing a deep understanding of financial operations to optimize systems and processes. The role will involve streamlining R2R functions, leveraging technologies such as SAP S4 Hana and other ERPs like Blackline, Trintech, Hyperion, and Workiva, and driving initiatives to enhance reporting, process efficiency, and financial visibility. The position will also oversee continuous improvement projects, process re-engineering, and the development of financial performance dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Domain Expertise: Lead the Record-to-Report (R2R) process, including Cash Applications, Intercompany Transactions, Reconciliations, Fixed Assets, Journal Entries, Month-End Close Processes, Internal Audits, and Reporting of Key Business Metrics such as Royalty.
  • Technology Optimization: Utilize SAP S4 Hana and other ERP systems to streamline and optimize R2R processes.
  • Real-time Reporting: Drive initiatives to enhance reporting with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), improving financial processes, data management, and visibility into performance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives in the R2R domain, incorporating tools like Blackline, Intelligent Automation, ERP optimization, and standardization efforts.
  • Collaboration & Transformation: Work with Global Process Owners (GPOs) to design and execute transformation projects and process solutions.
  • Process Re-engineering: Apply subject-matter expertise to evaluate and enhance operations and ensure clean data migration from legacy systems into SAP S/4HANA.
  • Dashboard Development: Support the development and maintenance of SAC-based financial performance dashboards, focusing on KPIs like EBITDA, gross margin, and working capital.
  • Diagnostic & Transformation Roadmaps: Conduct diagnostics, workshops, and create transformation roadmaps for R2R engagements.
  • Process Control: Identify and address process control gaps in collaboration with process owners.
  • Automation Initiatives: Support automation efforts using tools such as VBA scripting, Alteryx, and Power Platforms.
  • Quality Assurance: Manage quality investigations, define corrective actions, and ensure compliance with process standards.
  • KPI/SLAs Monitoring: Monitor and validate R2R KPIs/SLAs and prepare accurate global metric reports. Proficiency in Power BI or similar tools is a plus.
  • Balance Sheet & Reconciliations: Oversee balance sheet exposure, intercompany clearing, and reconciliation of unresolved items.
  • Month-End Close Support: Provide support for SAP Financial Month-End Close processes and other related tasks.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure the completeness and validity of data in SAP.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Review and resolve discrepancies identified by systems or manual checks, issue data clarification forms as needed.
  • Master Data Maintenance: Experience in Master Data maintenance strategies and techniques.

    Preferred Qualifications and Tools:

    • Familiarity with Intelligent Automation and AI tools.
    • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse (BW), and data integration tools.
    • Knowledge of S4 MDG (Master Data Governance) is a plus.
    • Exposure to process mining tools like Celonis.

    Location: 6th Floor, Hibiscus Tower 2 Bu, Bangalore, Karnataka, 560103, India

    Shift Timings: 1 PM to 10 PM (Flexible as per business requirements)

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Graduate (Master's Degree preferred).
    • 8 - 10 years of relevant experience.
