Domain Architect Job in Halliburton

Job Overview:

Under broad direction, this role involves being recognized as a technical expert and leader in multiple major systems and/or technologies. The position is responsible for researching and recommending strategic directions for Halliburton s IT initiatives. The role provides technical leadership for large-scale projects and key technology decisions, working closely with business partners to evaluate and incorporate emerging technology trends that will shape future product development and business opportunities.

As part of the Enterprise Architecture (EA) program, you will be responsible for leading, facilitating, and executing tasks to define, refine, and ensure the effective use of enterprise architecture within Halliburton. This includes overseeing asset-centric portfolio management and guiding the evolution of enterprise solution portfolios from current to future states. You will collaborate with project teams to enhance product delivery cycles, ensuring that the most suitable technologies are integrated into the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technology research and provide recommendations on Halliburton s IT strategy.
• Provide technical direction for large projects and key technology decisions.
• Consult with business partners to assess how emerging technology trends can influence product decisions and future opportunities.
• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture and technology requirements for Halliburton.
• Assist with governance activities to ensure EA compliance.
• Oversee asset-centric portfolio management disciplines, such as service-oriented architecture (SOA) or shared infrastructure.
• Develop roadmaps to guide the evolution of enterprise solution portfolios.
• Collaborate with project teams to improve product delivery cycles for new products and services.
• Integrate the most appropriate technologies into the organization s infrastructure.
• Apply expertise in multiple technical fields to solve complex problems and guide critical design decisions.
• Take a long-term view in addressing customer challenges, focusing on sustainable and valuable solutions.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in an IT discipline.
• Strong leadership and technical expertise in various specialized areas.
• Proven experience in enterprise architecture and portfolio management.
• In-depth knowledge of technology trends and their business impact.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in working with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
• Ability to take a strategic, long-term approach to solving complex technical challenges.
• Availability outside of normal working hours may be required.
