Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of Odoo developers.

Architect and design robust, scalable, and efficient Odoo solutions that meet business requirements.

Define coding standards, best practices, and development processes for the team.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, project managers, and QA teams, to ensure successful project delivery.

Customization and Development:

Lead the development of custom Odoo modules and applications based on client requirements.

Customize existing Odoo modules to enhance functionality and meet specific business needs.

Implement and integrate third-party extensions and APIs to extend Odoo s capabilities.

Code Review and Quality Assurance:

Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and compliance with coding standards.

Identify and rectify technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in the Odoo applications.

Documentation:

Create and maintain technical documentation for developed modules, APIs, and customizations.

Document configuration changes, codebase modifications, and development processes for future reference.

Project Management:

Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, requirements, timelines, and resource allocation.

Monitor project progress, track development milestones, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Assist in resolving technical challenges and ensuring project milestones are achieved on time.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

A minimum of 7 years of experience in a lead developer role

Proficiency in Python programming and hands-on experience with Odoo framework.

Strong understanding of ERP concepts and business processes.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), code review tools, and agile development methodologies.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead by example.

Preferred:

Odoo certification(s) or relevant technical certifications.

Experience with integration of Odoo with other systems (e.g., eCommerce platforms, CRM systems, accounting software).

Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for Odoo UI customization.
