Role and Responsibilities

• Provide a safe zone for the team with clear, honest, and inclusive communication that builds trust in both teams and peers across the organization.
• Set expectations to ensure that team works towards the success of the project.
• Offer team space for innovation and learning make the team confident enough to handle novel situations and challenges confidently and maturely.
• Ensure that the team is happy, productive, and empowered by giving directions and opportunities to grow.
• Guide the team to deliver as a performing unit and conduct agile reporting.
• Understand technology deeply and guide the team to debug at any level in the software stack.
• Focus on continuous improvement to drive team's vital growth.

Skills and Experience

• 12+ years of experience in the IT industry.
• 3+ years of experience in managing Java-based projects.
• 3+ years of experience in development and maintenance projects.
• 3+ years of experience in agile methodologies (like Scrum) and concepts (Sprint, Release, Backlog, etc.)
• 5-8 years of experience in Production Quality Software Development.
• Experience of working in a diverse or multiple stakeholder environment.
• Hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development including analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Good understanding of application development with Microservices Architecture.
• Prior experience in agile development methodologies, namely Scrum and/or Kanban.
• Comfortable working in an onsite-offshore environment.
• Experience in cloud services, preferably on AWS or Azure, with the ability to model and specify Consuming REST APIs.
• Familiarity with DevOps model of development and QA within a single team.
• Must have a strong sense of pragmatism in delivering value to the client.
