Structural Engineer Job in Gsource Technologies

• We have an immediate opening for the right individual to join our fast-growing Structural Engineering Services Group in our Pune, India office in the role of Structural Design Engineer.
  
• The selected candidate shall be required to work on structural engineering assignments for a variety of engineering projects in US.
  
• Responsibilities shall include coordination with Senior engineers / PMs / technical modelers in the Pune office .
  
• Technical specialization and personal initiative are pluses. Position responsibilities and requirements will include:
  
• Design and analysis of different residential, commercial and industrial structures
  
• Conceptualization, design and documentation of engineering design; including solving problems of medium complexity.
  
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (IBC, ASCE , AISC) and possess design knowledge of key structural elements in Timber , Concrete Masonry and reinforced concrete
  

Requirements

• Effective coordination with draftsmen and other members of the design and management team, whilst providing guidance to Junior Engineers.
  
• Displaying sound technical knowledge, thorough knowledge of all related codes and construction details.
  
• Performing structural analysis, structural design / detailing and related work including high quality design documentation, drawing review etc.
  
• Responsible for timely delivery and quality of work
  
• Participation in project design reviews
  
• Able to do simple evaluations by hand as well as to analyze more complex structures in software such as RISA, ETABS or StaadPRO.
  
• Hands on experience with REVIT Modelling to apply the above analysis.
  

Qualification:

B.Tech or B.E in Civil Structures

3 years relevant experience in US projects
