Job Summary About the role:As a creative leader in the marketing team, you will lead a team of creative professionals to develop and implement creative brand building strategies in order to increase brand awareness, consideration and memorability. You will develop both thematic and tactical campaigns across traditional and digital channels to drive growth and generate word of mouth for the brand. The role requires you to understand marketing problems and find creative solutions for driving brand growth and brand love.
What you will do everyday:
  • Create strategic integrated campaigns from creative brief to cross-channel ideation to brand guidelines to launch and evaluation
  • Create tactical and topical campaigns around key business and consumer initiatives
  • Understand marketing problems and find creative and effective solutions around them
  • Think across platforms and channels, both traditional and new-age, to create tailored content across each channel for both national and localized campaigns
  • Ideation, copy and content for communication pieces including digital films, social engagement, in-app communication, print ads, TVC scripts, radio spots and BTL
  • Create concepts and copy that deliver on creative briefs and content across digital
  • Elevate and inspire the creative output of our internal design team as well as external partners (creative agencies and production partners) to ensure campaigns meet a high-level of creativity and innovation
  • Develop innovative marketing experiences that help tell meaningful stories which connect to consumers
  • Be the voice in the room to always push the creative envelope for all campaigns
  • Strong conceptual thinking caring as much about tactical execution and individual words as the big idea
  • Partner with the Design, Brand Management, Digital and Customer Lifecycle teams for integrated campaign development
EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONSSkills you need to do the job:
  • 12+ years of experience as a Copywriter in a leading creative/advertising agency or a digital ad agency, preferably on fmcg or consumer internet brands
  • Ability to comprehend briefs objectively and arrive at an accurate understanding of marketing problems
  • Experience in executing brand campaigns with a mix of digital, social and traditional offline experience with demonstrated creative excellence
  • High creativity, providing a right brain counterpoint to the left brain thinkers in the business team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to interact and influence multiple partners and stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask and be able to handle multiple brand projects simultaneously
  • A keen sense of ownership, speedy execution and resourcefulness
  • Should be aware of new digital content formats and the latest trends in the field
  • A portfolio of work that showcases your ability to think and execute creative ideas across multimedia
  • Must be fluent in English copy with the ability to write in Hindi as well
