Job Summary
About the role:As the head of product marketing, you will manage 2-4 member team to develop and implement strategies in order to improve key business metrics like acquisition, loyalty and conversions through product interventions like Grofers loyalty program - Smart Bachat Club. You will also play a key role in aligning various key stakeholders from other functions, especially the product team. You will report to the Head of Retention and Consumer Engagement in marketing function and work closely with all marketing, product and category functions to drive growth.

- Drive key business goals including but not limited to app conversions, growth metrics like traffic, new user acquisition, loyalty, average order value, order frequency through different product initiatives. E.g. Drive new users through referral program, Conversions through home page layout changes
- Collaborate with product and category teams to scope opportunities, problem, solutions, product roadmap and adoption of products
- Manage a 2-4 member team to plan and execute cross channel campaigns to drive awareness, consideration and intent amongst users to adopt the products
- Manage and optimize budget (in crores) across product initiatives to meet growth targets
- Experiment with new product lines to deliver on critical business objectives through structured data driven experimentation
- Communicate the vision and value of new products to internal stakeholders product, category and business teams
- Collaborate with research team to conduct qualitative and quantitative research; analyze data to understand consumer motivations, pain-points and anxieties, & untapped opportunities
- Stay well-informed of the industry trends in different industries - e-commerce, social-commerce, social networking, payments, offline-retail
- Work with various teams to resolve issues, document challenges, create future pipeline and encourage collaborative brainstorming sessions
- 6-8 years of experience working in consumer-tech, product management or growth marketing roles
- Undergraduate or MBA/PGDM from a Tier-1 college is a must
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing from a premier Indian/International B-School is a plus but not necessary
- Self-starter with a passion for consumer tech product, read Alexa, is a must
- People management experience or exhibited leadership potential in previous stints
- Attention to detail with a keen sense of ownership, speedy execution and resourcefulness
