Key Requirements:
3-5 relevant years of experience in tableau administration
Good knowledge of tableau server architecture of tableau 2020.*
Great problem solver, who understands how to approach any given problem methodically
Proactive in identifying potential problems with tableau server or its usage
Can manage a Tableau Server that hosts 50-100 Tableau developers
Are willing to support the Tableau related issues which might occur from time to time and ensure that a
detailed RCA is performed on issues identified/ reported
Manage tableau licenses effectively and communicate
Good to have: AWS knowledge and AWS Redshift in particular
Expertise Linux platform
Help optimize Tableau performance overall
Suggest query optimizations where required
Understand how to prioritize Tableau refreshes
Fine tune Tableau parameters to ensure that the underlying Data infrastructure is not impacted
Understand and perform incremental refreshes instead of a full refresh
General housekeeping of Tableau extracts (delete unused and clear failed) - Scripting knowledge
required
Upgrade Tableau Server when required
Understand Distributed and High Availability Tableau Server Installations
