Job Description:

Purpose:

Adept to problem solving and empathizing with the user to understand his needs. A true passion to focus on how the user feels besides what the user thinks and acts. Ensure the product makes sense to users by creating a logical path by visualizing it. You should be able to tell a story or paint a picture that helps stakeholders understand the work done. Well versed with information architecture and able to organize it effectively. Never stops learning, constantly striving to improve and broaden skills

Goals and Deliverables:

• Design the best customer experience by doing user research and competitor analysis. Ideate continuously turning insights into concrete examples
• Convert requirements to easy and simple to use products for the end users
• Upgrade the user experience on channels like website, myGofrugal, chat by creating personas story boards, wireframes and prototypes
• You will be responsible for end-end deliverables from product-design, web-page and its promotion like videos, posters for the App or Product
• Continuously measure, evaluate and improve design experiences. Define usability reports indicating efficiency, satisfaction, user retention, abandonment etc

As a UI UX Designer:

• You will be a quick ideator understanding the user and product requirement by collaborating with different stake holders like product coaches, marketers and even customers to produce marketing assets
• You will illustrate design ideas into mood boards or story boards, process flows and build wireframe, prototypes
• You will have to develop a problem solving mindset, thus identify and trouble shoot UX problems like responsiveness etc
• You will conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback adhering to style standards on fonts, colors and images
• You will also collaborate with developers to gain product knowledge and ensure UX is implemented with the for best experience
• You also need to work closely with developers with basic understanding on front end languages like html5, css and Javascript
• You will have to keep yourself updated on the latest design trends and tools
• You will have to be open to receiving objective criticism and improve on it
• With a good experience in working with agile teams of developers, UX designers and copywriters
• You will be able to make deliberate design decisions and to translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction

You will not fit in the role if:

• You are not well versed with UI UX product design methodologies like human-computer interactions, design interactions and micro animations
• You do not have demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
• You are an individual rock star performer and not a team player
• You cannot collaborate with intense engagement with right people at right time for right solution
• You need someone to follow up on your work and not a good self-learner and find it difficult to go extra mile
• You do not enjoy continuous feedback and learning
• You feel like a victim in every challenge raised by customers or partners
• You love blaming others instead of seeking help to get the job done when it matters
• You are afraid to raise challenges at work even to your seniors
• You feel daily stand ups, weekly reviews and course correction are too much pressure
