Responsibilities:

Influences the team to adopt the latest technology which can, in turn, improve the overall code quality Takes ownership in scaling mobile app development across Engineering, providing valuable insight on how we can refine our processes and tools to support additional contributors in our architecture and code Self-motivated in driving end-to-end feature development by following the best practices. Takes ownership of end-to-end product quality, from development to maintaining core app frameworks that help make the apps more reliable and delightful Brainstorm on creating architectures for a new feature/sdk and explore new technologies on the forefront of mobile technology Zeal to improve the app performance by either upgrading the tech stack or finding/fixing core problems associated with it. Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred. Understanding of Android Architecture, Framework, Android SDK, Core Java, Android Studio IDE, Android Debugger Have a good understanding of design principles and should know about MV*(MVP/MVI/MVVM etc) architecture Have sound and working experience in Kotlin and eager to make the code more idiomatic and cleaner. Understands the ins and outs of the Android app lifecycle and gives focus on clean architectures. Have good experience in writing Unit/UI Tests to improve the overall code quality Expert in UI components & controls; Action Bars, Widgets, Fragments, etc. Expert in basic components of Android: Activity, Services, Intent, Broadcast Receiver, Content Provider Good to Have: Experience on RxJava/Kotlin Coroutines. We are going with the Flow. Working knowledge of Android Jetpack libraries like Room/Navigation/ViewModel etc Understands the security aspect of Android apps and how they can be broken Experience in working with multi-modular architecture Have working knowledge of any Dependency Injection frameworks preferably Dagger 2, HILT, etc Have a cross-platform experience like React Native or Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile Knows about declarative UI development with Jetpack Compose
