Requirements: 6+ years' relevant experience in Game art development will be preferred Great visualization, illustration and coloring skills Ability to work within a broad variety of styles and genres Ability to design characters, objects and environments Ability to refine ideas and illuminate areas of possible further development Ability to create concepts based on verbal and written direction Strong communication skills Ability to create storyboards will be considered an advantage Roles and Responsibilities: Create concepts based on verbal and written direction and proficient in Adobe Photoshop/ illustrator Create high quality concepts for various gaming and animation projects Determine how best to represent a concept visually. Produce a wide range of highly creative concept art Turning initial sketches into worked-up drawings from which characters/sets are built or locations adapted Developing and designing all types of concepts, visual imagery and graphics for Gaming and Animation projects Working closely with CG Artists ,3d Artists and Animators to deliver the highest quality visual output Assists in establishing style for production art. Maintain consistent style under the direction of the leads Art Director Work with production leads to create concept art relevant for project. Follow the schedules set by the production managers Actively participate in technical and artistic problem solving Realizing the overall artistic vision of characters/creatures based on designs, concepts or descriptions Using Photoshop and proprietary software to create Next Gen art assets Finding internal and external references for in-game assets Guiding mentoring juniors in the team and grooming them and giving them the required KT
