Job Summary

Role Description

Business Development thru Projects

Business Development through Specifiers, Interior designers, Consultants, Architects, Builders, Govt. authorities and Project authorities in assigned area and meet the given sales targets

Handle end to end process, from lead generation to order execution and final collection of payment through institutional/ Project sales channel

Conceptualizing sales strategy for Institutional and Project Sales

Get technical approval for the new projects and educate the customer about new technical developments in coordination with relevant internal teams

Implementing innovative sales strategies to ensure deeper penetration, customer loyalty and brand presence; successfully and consistently delivering the responsibilities of revenue generation, profitability, market share and customer satisfaction

Sell and promote various ranges of products, from traditional to technical, get specified in projects for newly launched technical product lines.

Creating presence of GM in Institutional and Project channel sales in the region defined.

Support Product Branding & Promotions

Providing direction to execute product promotions / new product launches as part of brand building & market development effort

Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products Evaluating Trade marketing budgets periodically including manpower planning initiatives and ensuring product visibility, adherence to planned expense, etc.

Conceptualising and implementing the sales promotional activities as a part of the brand building & market development effort as well as designing, implementing and executing the trade & consumer promotion activities & schemes

Preparing management level reporting on the brand s performance, needs and forecasts

Operational Support

Coordinate with various internal and external customers for successful & timely order execution and collection.

Liaising with corporates for new business leads and opportunities

Direct, coordinate, and review activities in sales and service accounting and record-keeping, and in receiving and shipping operations.

Advise dealers and distributors on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business

Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service program

Handling demand forecasting & managing inventory, ensuring optimum inventory levels with channel partners to ensure timely deliveries to the customers & maintain viability of channel partner by Return on investment (ROI)

Channel Management

Develop creatively wide network of projects & institutional sales channel partners to ensure adequate market reach and capitalize on emerging market opportunities

Deft in recruitment and development of new channel partners & management of distribution network

Handling demand forecasting & managing inventory, ensuring optimum inventory levels with channel partners to ensure timely deliveries to the customers & maintain viability of channel partner by Return on investment (ROI)

Self & Team Management

Initiate self-learning by participating in different workshops, seminars to increase industry awareness

Hire, motivate, train staff and enhance their performance by becoming their coach and mentor and develop them to take additional responsibilities

Ensure timely appraisal for the team is completed and put a training calendar for the team and ensure the same is implemented within the deadline

Ensure identification of high potentials and design action plans for succession planning in the department
