Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build robust, scalable applications on the Business Technology Platform (BTP) using SAP Cloud Platform (SCP) services, including SAP Cloud Foundry, SAP HANA, NodeJs, CAPM, SAP Fiori, and SAPUI5.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, architects, and UX designers, to gather business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, promoting best practices in BTP application development.
• Collaborate with project management to estimate project effort, plan timelines, and ensure high-quality solution delivery within set deadlines.
• Conduct peer reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and uphold coding standards and best practices.
• Stay informed on the latest BTP technology trends and propose innovative enhancements to application performance and user experience.
• Partner with infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration of BTP applications with enterprise systems and data sources.
• Document technical specifications, system designs, and development processes for effective knowledge sharing and application maintainability.
• Assist in the deployment and maintenance of BTP applications, including monitoring, debugging, and implementing enhancements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Senior Developer, focusing on BTP development.
• Strong expertise in BTP technologies, including SAP Cloud Foundry, SAP HANA, SAP Fiori, and SAPUI5.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as CAPM, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript, as well as OData services.
• Familiarity with S4HANA backend services and integration with Mulesoft, SAP CPI, and other third-party applications.
• Understanding of at least one business process within S4HANA is beneficial.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Jira, Solman).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of quickly grasping complex business needs and converting them into technical solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Experience in leading and mentoring developer teams is preferred.
• SAP or SAP BTP certifications in relevant technologies are a plus.
