Associate Senior Devops Engineer Job in Global Payments

Description Duties & Responsibilities: Provision, configure and maintain GCP cloud infrastructure defined as code Create CI/CD pipelines for builds, deployments, and other purposes. Troubleshoot and resolve build and deployment failures Work collaboratively and build a strong relationship with development teams to understand their build and infrastructure requirements Ensure configuration and compliance with existing policies and procedures. Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows based systems Develop target CI/CD solution patterns, analyze existing application and IT deployments, propose requirements and designs, craft an automation approach, drive implementation Prepare DevOps guidance, standards, requirements, design, and ensure that the end product is aligned to the strategy and overall enterprise architecture standards Works with development teams on maintaining and adjusting cloud infrastructure for optimal scaling Applies technical experience to develop a deep understanding of, and drive enhancement of, cloud tooling Become a member of a highly-collaborative, cross-functional cloud team Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 5 years of writing and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines Minimum of 2 years of experience building and maintaining GCP infrastructure Understanding of how to secure GCP environments and meet compliance requirements such as PCI Experience using configuration management tools such as Ansible Hands-on experience deploying and managing infrastructure with Terraform, create Terraform modules for reusability Solid foundation of networking and Linux administration, unix scripting Proficiency in cross-platform scripting languages and build tools (Python, Artifactory, Groovy, Maven, MS Build, Nexus, NuGet). Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Strong knowledge of Jenkins, ability to write Jenkins pipelines and experience creating reusable Jenkins shared libraries Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools Strong bias for action and ownership Experience managing Windows Servers and SQL Server Preferred Qualifications: GCP certification Application development experience for cloud-based systems
