Roles and Responsibilities

Impact on the Business / Function

  • Accountable for timely and accurate delivery of all liquidity reporting requirements as agreed with each of the sites, as listed above and for onward submission of reporting for Group consolidation as required
  • Manage key stakeholders in each of the markets and ensure that the ALCM operations timeline and accuracy of reporting commitments are adhered to at all times
  • Accountable for implementing new reports as per group framework and also for ensuring adherence of reports to the guidelines internal and regulatory.
  • Ensuring appropriate controls are in place and applied to maintain consistency of reporting processes across the submissions
  • Aligns practices with existing other teams in ALCM to embed global processes and standard controls
  • Providing instructions and best practice guidance to regional and global business peers
  • Documenting clear basis of preparation for each aspect of the consolidation process
  • Transition of processes/activities basis Target Operating Model (TOM)
  • Support and drive the change agenda for Liquidity Reporting, including system implementation, new regulatory requirements, and process improvement projects.
  • Support other ALCM operations and larger Finance operations initiatives


Desired Candidate Profile


  • Relevant product knowledge, including knowledge of liquidity reporting processes and policies. Knowledge of Basel III liquidity standards in particular will be of advantage
  • Understanding of Global business lines and products, particularly their liquidity characteristics is desirable
  • Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Treasury, Finance
  • Experience working in relevant market/context, i.e. Banking, Financial Services, Consulting
  • Role relevant qualifications, i.e. Accountancy/MBA or equivalent is desirable but not essential
  • Proven experience of leading the delivery of an excellent customer service and proactively look for innovative ways to improve the service delivered to customers
  • A track record of delivering significant change which improves business effectiveness in sustainable ways
  • Proven experience of motivating others to deliver exceptional performance and long terms results
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is a articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
  • Built effective networks both internally and externally and created opportunities for others to work collaboratively
  • A broad understanding of financial budgets/statements/models, with experience of analysing data effectively for planning, forecasting and reporting
  • Experience of planning and prioritising their own time effectively, aware of their responsibilities and committed to delivering these efficiently.
  • Experience of building and managing complex relationships with significant customers
