Inviting applications for the role of SM, Cloud Solution Architect

In this role, you will have proven experience assessing clients workloads and technology landscape for Cloud suitability, develop business case and Cloud adoption roadmap. Knowledge of standard methodologies and market trends pertaining to Cloud and overall industry to provide thought leadership (seminars, whitepapers etc.) and mentor team to build vital competency. Understanding of the cloud orchestration such and should be able to define and design solutions independently based on the driving factors such as costs / Non- functional requirements and functional requirements. Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation. Create bill of materials, including required Cloud Services and tools

Responsibilities

  • Domain Expert level of Azure skills as Technical Architect with implementation and sustenance experience dealing with global partners.
  • Awareness of different technology stacks like LAMP, LEMP, MEAN, 2-Tier application, 3-Tier Application, Micro Service, Kubernetes, PaaS services etc. Hands on experience will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in Systems Operations / Management, Database architecture, Virtualization, IP Networking, Storage, IT Security, Wintel, Linux.
  • Proven knowledge of Azure platform, tools and native services.
  • Expertise in overseeing application architecture and deployment in cloud environments including public / private and traditional IT (hybrid / enterprise cloud). Ability to act as consultants on cloud strategy and need to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and issues and development in the hybrid cloud world.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DevOps tool chains and processes (Git, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt, and Cloud formation).
  • Design the overall Virtual Network environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc.
  • Design the AZURE network architecture including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets
  • Design the HA / DR strategies.
  • Set up process, services and tools around Azure cloud
  • Oversee build of the environment
  • Validate the environment to meets all security and compliance controls

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

  • Proven experience working as Solution Architect
  • B.E/MCA Degree.

Preferred qualifications

  • Good command over Linux shell and Windows PowerShell
  • Excellent interpersonal and writing skills
  • AZURE Solutions Architect Certification (Required)
  • Scripting knowledge of Bash or Python
