Assistant Manager Procurement ( Raw Materials )- Fmcg Industry Job in Gennext India Private Limited

Roles and Responsibilities

A. Day-to-Day Procurement
1. Managing 2/3 member team which will support in ensuring optimum availability of Raw Material (RM) and Packing Material (PM)
2. Direct responsibility for RM/PM availability and inventory management
3. Weekly co-ordination with Stores, Production and Planning for meeting RM requirement
4. Co-ordinating with Quality & Food Safety Dept for ensuring RM & PM meet our internal standards

B. Analysis & Cost Savings
1. Analysing RM spend for BIIB
2. Creating RM category strategy, identifying & executing cost reduction projects

C. Sourcing - Raw Material
1. Identifying alternate vendors suitable for our requirement
2. Negotiation and price finalization with vendors
3. Working closely with new product development to de-risk high value single vendor spend

D. MIS & Processes
1. Developing MIS system for Procurement to track RM movement, OTIF, Cost Savings etc
2. Co-ordinating with Finance and IT for their MIS requirements and IT improvements respectively

E. Additional Responsibilities - Indirect Procurement - Capex
1. Identifying and negotiating with vendors for Capex Purchases
2. Identifying and negotiating with vendors for Plant Purchases

Skills:

1. Candidate should have good knowledge of raw material which goes for bakery related products
2. Experience in purchase of key raw material
3. Good Negotiation skills
4. Good Ethical Behaviour
5. Good at Vendor Management and coordination
6. Good at decision making and handling challenging situation
7. Good team management skills (2-3 resources)
8. Good career record
