SAP ABAP Developer

The person hired for the position of SAP ABAP Developer will be part of GBSI s collaborative global consulting team.

Develop and implement cross-module SAP solutions (CA, AM, CO, FI, MM, SD). Provide SAP technical consulting services and custom programming. Analyze user needs, and develop and implement SAP software solutions. Design customized SAP Solutions for clients' use with the aim of enhancing data needed from a tax perspective. As SAP ABAP Developer, will be responsible for recognizing the critical elements of complex application problems, developing and evaluating data, determining solutions, and making logical recommendations when implementing SAP, DaRT, and SAF-T solutions. Will also be responsible for the application of OSS notes; program documentation; establishing and maintaining effective and cooperative working relationships with administrators, technical and functional team members, and end-users. Provide software engineering and development expertise while working closely with functional colleagues, when providing them feedback on technical feasibility and translating their functional requirements into technical requirements.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor s degree, or its foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, IT or closely related field,
• 4+ years of post-baccalaureate work experience providing SAP technical consulting and custom programming experience. Stated experience must also include 3+ years of experience with SAP-SD, SAP-FI, and SAP-MM.
• Use SAP ABAP programming tools including Report and Transaction creation, Enhancements, Conversion Programs, SAPscript, and SmartForms, Screen Painter BDC, LSMW, User Exits, Menu Exits, Function Exit, Screen Exit, ALV Reports, Dialog Programming, Data Dictionary, RFC, ABAP Query, ALE, BAPI, and BADI to design, develop, and code difficult and complex programs.
• Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Functional knowledge of SAP R/3
