Job Summary

POSITION RESPONSIBITIES

Major responsibilities of the profile, but not limited to, shall be:

Live 1st contact incident management
Resolving administrative requests for application server systems and MS Office/Outlook client installations
Provide first level support for application development and support teams in resolving technical problems
Would be expected to develop a deep understanding of the Firm s business and core business application for which training would be provided
Handling Active Directory, Server Operating systems, Citrix Director
Install and configure Desktop PC s, laptops, smart phones and mobile devices with appropriate software applications according to Global IT standards and IT guidelines
Network security (antivirus, spyware tools), DHCP and DNS
Host security (for example, passwords, uids/gids, ACLs, file permissions, file system integrity)
MS Outlook/Exchange
Trouble-shooting VPN related problems and work with second level specialists on resolving connectivity issues in the Data and Voice infrastructure
Documentation of best practices maintenance, 1st level trouble shooting procedures related to the above
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the 1st Level related operations procedures
Performing infrastructure monitoring

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS

Overall work experience of at least 2-8 years with at least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Installing, administering & troubleshooting MS operating systems, Microsoft Outlook and citrix virtual environment
Understanding of messaging and intranet protocols, Cisco IP telephony, SCCM is an added advantage
Solid interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent written and verbal English language skills to deliver high quality support for clients
Solid sense for operational priorities and service attitude
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and willingness to share knowledge
Ability to work in flexible shifts

Qualification :
Graduation
