Job Summary

Role Summary:

The Data Visualization Engineering Specialist will contribute to the development of analytics using data visualization tools like Spotfire. This requires understanding of functional requirement, perform exploratory data analysis, translate into data entities with help from senior members, assisting in incident trouble shooting and work collaboratively within team. Should have flair of learning new things and creatively apply in the working environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Data Visualization Engineering Specialist will be responsible for the design, development and testing of reports in Business Intelligence reporting and visualization tools.
- Perform unit & integration testing and resolve any defects.
- Partner with data engineers & data architects to optimize / troubleshoot dashboards.
- Work closely with data engineers to establish automated integration between data load and visualization dashboards.
- Familiar about Agile methodology and awareness / exposure to the working of scrum teams.
- Perform peer code reviews, peer code testing and ensure adherence to coding standards and guidelines.
- Prepare required product documentation and adhere to process such as code migration, versioning etc.,.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- BE/B.Tech/BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent.
- Sound conceptual understanding in Data Visualization, Business Intelligence, data warehousing or data ingestion.
- Experience in developing solutions using databases like Greenplum, Postgres or Oracle.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytic, creative and business-focused problem solver.
