Job Summary About the role: The Territory Planning & Analytics ( TP&A ) team is at the centre of delivering against our CEO s top priorities rapidly-growing the sales force and increasing sales productivity. We provide strategic advice to corporate and senior Sales leaders across the globe to ensure the best return on the company s substantial annual investment in incremental sales professionals. The Territory Planning & Analytics Innovation team is focused on making sure we understand the needs of the sales force to help create scalable products, solutions that help increase the sales productivity, overall experience utilizing both data and technology. This is a unique opportunity to support key product developments within our Global Sales Strategy & Operations team. We are looking to hire a Product Manager / Senior Product manager who will work in a scrum team focused on delivering value to our company-wide sales team through actionable insights and products. Through close partnership with various business leaders and with other product and IT partners, this individual will contribute to building products that support key Gartner strategic initiatives from TP&A standpoint. What you will do : Product Strategy: Mine quantitative data to drive insights, inform hypotheses, prioritize development and size opportunity. Build consensus amongst product leaders, engineering, and business on prioritizing the product roadmap based on client and business value. Implement a lean approach to product development where you along with your design and engineering teams strive for early validation of learnings and continuously iterate to achieve our goals. Technical leadership Leverage qualitative feedback from users and partner interviews to uncover user needs through exploratory and focused conversations. Create Business requirements, lay out clear product roadmap and work on making well-defined user stories having clear acceptance criteria and leading the backlog refinement meetings Business Acumen Measure and analyse existing products, processes for opportunities to innovate and improve, providing additional benefits to developers and customers Stakeholder management Project communication and stakeholder management with senior stakeholders to update them on the project s progress and deliverables. Creating user acceptance testing plan and overseeing the UAT efforts by working closely with the all the stakeholders involved What you'll need: 5-8 years of experience working as a Product manager including experience working on data products Bachelor s Degree required; MBA (or equivalent) is a plus. Integrate input from multiple channels including customer interviews, analyzing data/reports and stakeholder requests into product priorities and requirements. Serve as product owner, providing direction to various scrum teams of engineers, data analysts and data scientists, etc. Analyze MVP and experiment data and synthesize into findings and actionable insights. Establish a vision and roadmaps, providing visibility to business and technical stakeholders. Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL, Oracle) and ability to write SQL queries. Working experience or sound knowledge of Cloud based applications Possess a strong understanding of APIs. Strong Project management experience working with various cross-functional and IT teams. Love quantitative/qualitative problem solving and are excited about defining and driving use cases, product features/requirements, roadmaps, and release plans through data. Experience in gathering input from and communicating ideas to clients and key stakeholders across businesses. Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills. Good to have Product management experience working on Data science projects in the past around forecasting or recommendation engines.
