Position Summary

This position requires to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the companys vision and strategy. The role requires to have a solid understanding of consumers, the market place, competition and future trends for the domain being developed.

The Sr. Product Manager needs to understand the vision of the product from the customers and other stakeholders of view and should build products that are compliant with the UK regulations and are loved by the customers.

Critical Business Activities

  • Build and maintain an acute awareness and understanding of the UK credit and lending market
  • Determine customers needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market
  • Lead end-to-end cross-functional projects that are critical to the Lending Stream P&L
  • Develop product pricing and positioning strategies and translating them into a detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Understand regulatory landscape, new regulations to define a compliant and profitable product features by working closely with compliance team
  • Create detailed 6-pager/product requirement documents to clearly elaborate why,what and how of any new product offer/feature.
  • Communicate with execs to get a buy-in from them on any new product feature and give regular updates on the performance.
  • Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
  • Drive product launches including working with relevant stakeholders like engineering team, , compliance and product management team members.
  • Define/optimize processes for effective delivery of desired outcomes.

  • At least 6 years experience working in a Product Management role in a technology environment
  • Proven ability to write elaborate and clear product requirement documents/6-pagers that identify business challenges and technical & business changes required to address
  • Prior experience and track record of building successful business products using data, customer feedback, regulatory feedback, cross-functional feedback and common
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across execs, technology and the business
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Ability to develop product and marketing strategies; and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
  • Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up ones sleeves to get the job
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies. Good understanding of technology, language and applications
  • Demonstrated working experience within an Agile methodology and utilizing agile
  • Proven experience in mentoring or managing people.
