Job Summary
Lead the hardware engineering team for specific projects
Key duties/ responsibilities
Gadgeon provides product engineering service to its clients in different verticals, which includes hardware design from specifications to manufacturing support. In this context, the key responsibilities are
- Develop the hardware specifications, and lead the entire development cycle for multiple projects
- Customer engagement through frequent communication on emails and weekly calls
- Mentoring and guiding the team of engineers
- Delivering the projects on time with quality
- SCM Management
Mandatory Skills
- Expert in using Altium SE. Expertise in OrCAD would be a plus.
- Hands on schematic capture, Library creation (schematic / Layout) and other layout activities
- Experience in microcontroller and microprocessor-based designs.
- Experience in high-speed designs
- Design for Certifications (EMI/EMC, FCC, UL, etc.)
- Experience with equipment power and thermal dissipation calculations
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Shall have good understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes
- Experience in designs with small form factors
- Experience in working with different processor/controller architectures
- Expertise in E-CAD/M-CAD integration
- Team player
Preferred Skills
- Firmware and IoT solutions knowledge would be a plus
- Experience in RF is an added advantage.
- Experience in IEC 60601-1-X
