Job Summary

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform needs analysis, content development, delivery, implementation, and evaluation
  • Maintain learning plans, including providing monthly reports to Global Technical Support leadership detailing training completion and compliance
  • Work with subject matter experts to identify target audiences training needs and develop effective and measurable learning paths
  • Create training materials and collateral that clearly encompass learning objectives
  • Develop and maintain the Global Technical Support Knowledge Base, including training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials
  • Create, deliver and conduct engaging learning activities (online and in-person) along with compelling course content
  • Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and learning design
  • Partner closely with internal business partners to ensure specific business needs are met and learning strategies are aligned with learning deliverables for the program

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent in engineering, computer science, information technology, or technical field
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in the area of wireless technology, wireless communications, or wireless networking
  • Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across, and down multiple business and technology organizations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively to both technical & non-technical audiences.
  • Strong experience designing and implementing successful training programs, including in-person, virtual, webinar, eLearning, workshops, simulations, coaching, and on the-job learning
  • Ability to lead and motivate team members of varying experience, tenure, and professional and educational background, whether in office or remote
  • Knowledge of various training and teaching methods
  • Great team leader
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Experience delivering Instructor-Led Training and Distance Learning
  • Good interpersonal skills to interact effectively with the Technical Support staff and to solicit feedback on training programs in order to make improvements
  • Must have an excellent command of the English language, both oral and written
  • Flexible hours/days are a requirement
  • Proficiency in Adult Learning, Education, or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, preferably in a fast-paced global software company or technical training roles
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and strategies for driving learner engagement and knowledge retention
  • Successful record of building effective learning experiences in the format of simulations, game-based and gamified learning, microlearning, just-in-time solutions, infographics and videos
  • Ability to lead and motivate team members of varying experience, tenure, and professional and educational backgrounds
  • Proven project and time management skills in an environment where you may be contributing to several projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly build strong partnerships and effectively communicate needs and challenges
  • Technically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Microsoft Project, Salesforce, Zendesk

  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Organizational skills, analytical abilities, budgeting skills, mathematical strengths
  • Networking, Systems, or Development experience is a plus
  • Strong background in developing metrics and benchmarks

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS (certifications, etc.):

  • Certificate in Adult Learning is an asset
  • Experience in the area of wireless technology, wireless communications or wireless networking preferred

  • Advanced proficiency with Learning Management Systems (Brainshark, Udemy, Go1)
